Within the scope of ‘EIT Digital 2020’ activities, EIT Digital solicits proposals for its ‘Innovation Factory’ and ‘Entrepreneurship Academy’ until May 3, 2019.
The EIT Digital Innovation Factory supports pan European entrepreneurial teams to launch new startups and new products. With the pre-incubation support, partners will be embedded in EIT Digital’s European ecosystem and receive a financial co-investment to package their technology, sign up customers and attract investors.
The EIT Digital Entrepreneurship Academy provides education support for development and deployment of programmes and courses with business development oriented components. Partners can be part of European ecosystem of Higher Education Institutions and co-invest to receive both financial and experienced teaching support.
The EIT Digital invests in five strategic areas for a strong digital Europe: Digital Tech, Digital Cities, Digital Industry, Digital Wellbeing, and Digital Finance.
Since its launch, EIT Digital:
- has equipped more than 1,500 students with the skills to innovate and become entrepreneurs
- has supported more than 300 startups and scaleups to grow internationally
- created more than 120 new ventures
- launched more than 380 products and services commercially
If your organization is getting in touch for the first time with EIT Digital: please be aware that EIT Digital is a partnership organisation. This implies that proposers are expected to be or become partner of EIT Digital. Organisations that are not yet a partner are expected to submit their application for partnership latest at the moment of submission of the proposal.
